The Rotur Dividers are excellent tools for measuring the distance between two points. They're also great for scribing circles before turning operations and marking along a spindle. With a threaded adjuster and a strong containing spring, you can easily make fine adjustments. This 6-piece set is identified as CD506.
Using these Rotur Dividers is simple. To measure between two points, just open the dividers and place the tips at the two points you want to measure. For scribing circles, set the dividers to the desired radius, place the tip at the center of the circle, and then rotate it to mark the circle. When marking along a spindle, align the dividers along the spindle and mark as needed. Make sure to handle the dividers gently to avoid damaging the tips. After use, clean the dividers with a soft cloth to keep them in good condition. Store them in a dry place to prevent rusting.
