Corefix 120 comes in a pack of 4 with a 120mm size. It's specially crafted to securely and swiftly attach heavy items to plasterboard (dot and dab) cavity walls. Independently tested, it can safely hold up to 100 kg of weight. You don't need any special tools to install Corefix. All you need is a 10mm drill, a hammer, and a screwdriver. Originally made for wall - hung kitchen cabinets, Corefix fixings are now great for supporting various heavy items on hollow cavity walls, like large flat - screen TVs, sanitary ware, boilers, and radiators. Corefix uses a steel core fixing to bridge the gap between the plasterboard and the solid wall behind. This prevents the plasterboard from getting crushed and collapsing into the void, which often happens with other common cavity wall fixings under pressure. The load is supported by the solid wall behind the plasterboard cavity. All Corefix components are of high - quality engineering, and the steel core is plated to resist corrosion.

Using Corefix is easy. First, grab a 10mm drill, a hammer, and a screwdriver. Drill a hole in the plasterboard where you want to fix the item. Then, insert the Corefix into the hole and tap it gently with the hammer until it's in place. Use the screwdriver to secure your heavy item to the Corefix. Remember, Corefix is tested to support up to 100 kg, so don't exceed this weight limit. Also, make sure the surface of the plasterboard is clean and dry before installation. For maintenance, check the fixings regularly to ensure they're still secure. If you notice any signs of corrosion on the steel core, clean it gently and it should be good to go.
