Corefix100 comes in a pack of 24, with a 100mm size. It's crafted to quickly and safely attach heavy loads to plasterboard (dot and dab) cavity walls. Independently tested, it can safely hold 100 kg loads. You can install Corefix easily without any special tools - just a 10mm drill, hammer, and screwdriver. Originally made for securely mounting wall - hung kitchen cabinets, Corefix fixings are now used for various heavy loads on hollow cavity walls, like large flat - screen TVs, sanitary ware products, boilers, and radiators. Corefix works by using a steel core to bridge the gap between the plasterboard and the solid wall behind. This prevents the plasterboard from being crushed and collapsing into the void, which often happens with other common cavity wall fixings under pressure. The load is supported by the solid wall behind the plasterboard cavity. All Corefix components are of high - quality engineering, and the steel core is plated to resist corrosion.

Using Corefix is easy. First, gather a 10mm drill, a hammer, and a screwdriver. Drill a hole in the plasterboard where you want to install the fixing. Then, insert the Corefix into the hole and use the hammer to tap it in gently. After that, you can use the screwdriver to secure your heavy item, like a TV or a kitchen cabinet. When using Corefix, make sure to follow the weight limit of 100 kg. Don't try to hang something heavier than this as it might not be safe. For maintenance, there's not much you need to do. Just check periodically to see if the fixings are still tight. If you notice any looseness, simply tighten the screws a bit. Also, since the steel core is plated for corrosion resistance, it should last a long time, but avoid exposing it to excessive moisture to keep it in good condition.
