Inward pressure against the fence significantly reduces the risk of kickback. Forward pressure ensures a consistent feed of the stock through the cut, eliminating burning and blade marks.
It effectively eliminates kickback on table saws. Kickback happens when the workpiece deviates from the fence and gets trapped between the saw blade and the fence. The rear teeth of the blade can turn the workpiece into a dangerous projectile. The GRR - RIPPER helps you maintain control throughout the cut to avoid this.
When ripping, you can work without stopping or causing burning. Using two GRR - RIPPERs allows for continuous feeding of long stock, virtually eradicating burning and blade marks from inconsistent feed rates. Your parts will come off the saw ready to use with minimal additional sanding or planing.
**Table Saws**: Built specifically for table saws, the GRR - RIPPER acts as a moving blade guard, protecting your hands from the blade during the entire cut. Right out of the box, it can cut stock as small as ¼” x ¼”. Its three - way control results in cleaner and more precise cuts.
**Router Tables**: On router tables, the GRR - RIPPER gives you amazing control over your workpiece. Whether you're using the fence or freehand routing, its strong grip controls the stock and shields your hands from dangerous spinning bits.
**Jointers**: The GRR - RIPPER's special Green GRR - RIP material offers all the traction needed to flatten stock on the jointer. Thanks to its powerful grip, you don't have to apply excessive downward pressure when feeding material over the cutter head. It makes face - jointing safe and easy.
**Band Saws**: The GRR - RIPPER's legs and main body maintain a 90 - degree angle. It can be used on its side, which is perfect for resawing on band saws. It glides along the tabletop, applying even pressure against the fence while keeping your hands away from the blade. Even pressure means less blade drift and smoother cuts.

Using the MicroJig GRR - RIPPER Complete is quite straightforward. For table saws, simply place the tool on the table and use it to guide the stock through the cut. Make sure to keep your hands behind the Deflector / Connector for safety. On router tables, hold the GRR - RIPPER firmly and use it to control the movement of the workpiece. When using it with jointers, let the Green GRR - RIP material do the work and don't press down too hard. For band saws, position the tool on its side and glide it along the tabletop.
Some important notes: Always read the instruction manual before using the tool. Keep your hands away from the blade at all times. Make sure all accessories are properly installed.
