Using the MicroJig GRR - RIP Smart Push Block is easy. When you start working on a workpiece, place the push block on it. The Smart Hooks will help grip the material firmly. As you move the workpiece, the hooks will auto - retract when they reach the middle of the board and then grab the tail end. If you don't need the hooks, simply lock them in the retracted position. The 90 - degree Flip Guide can be used for different tasks like veneers and resawing. Just flip it according to your needs. For freehand routing, make sure to lock the Smart Hooks in the retracted position to keep them away from the router bit. The Deflector / Connector should be used to protect you from debris and woodchips. When handling larger materials, connect two push blocks using the Deflector / Connector for better traction. As for maintenance, keep the push block clean after each use. Wipe off any woodchips or debris. Check the Smart Hooks regularly to ensure they are working properly and can retract and lock as needed.
