It also has an alternator check function to figure out the output percentage of your vehicle's charging system. Note that it's not suitable for Lithium ion and Li - Po batteries. This charger can handle 12V lead - acid batteries up to 500Ah and 24V ones up to 240Ah. It has 8 smart charging steps, including desulphation to bring back battery capacity. There's a digital illuminated screen display for easy viewing. It can automatically detect battery voltage, has a boost feature (12V) for quicker charging and vehicle starting, and offers reverse polarity and overcharge protection. Using the Clarke International 12/24V Intelligent Battery Charger is easy. First, make sure the charger is turned off. Then, connect the charger to the battery, following the correct polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative). Once connected, turn on the charger.
