The Makita DC40RC is a top - notch standard charger for Makita XGT® Li - Ion batteries. It can charge a battery in 30 - 85 minutes, depending on the battery's capacity. This charger is also compatible with the optional Interchangeable adapter ADP10, allowing you to charge LXT® Li - Ion batteries. Key features of the Makita standard charger include a large charging status indicator light. With a raised lens, it clearly shows the status in three colors - blue, green, and red. There's also a selectable melody sound to notify you when the battery is fully charged. It uses real - time battery data feedback for optimum charging control and can be used as a wall - mounted charger. The charging performance of each port is as good as that of the DC40RA. Using the Makita DC40RC charger is easy. First, make sure the charger is connected to a 240V power source. Then, simply insert your Makita XGT® Li - Ion battery into the charger.
