Using the Rotur Solid Dead Centre is easy. First, make sure your lathe is turned off. Then, install the dead centre in the tailstock of your wood or metal lathe. Once it's properly installed, you can start your turning work. When turning, ensure the workpiece is firmly held between the dead centre and the headstock.
