The 60 - degree V - stop is perfect for circular shapes, while the 90 - degree V - stop works great for square, octagonal, hexagonal, and larger circular pieces. It's a must - have for wood turners marking bowl blanks, those working on small craft projects, and carpenters creating circle patterns. It can precisely mark the center of round objects up to 8 inches in diameter, hexagons up to 5 - 3/4 inches, octagons up to 8 inches, and square objects up to 8 inches. Using the Rotur Center Locator is easy. First, select the appropriate V - stop according to the shape of your workpiece. If it's a circular object, the 60 - degree V - stop is a good choice. For square, octagonal, or hexagonal pieces, use the 90 - degree V - stop. Place the center locator on the workpiece and align it carefully. Then, you can mark the center.
