DESCRIPTION
The Rotur mini drive centres are ideal for all kinds of spindle work. With a 9mm diameter head, it protrudes further from the Morse taper and has a slimmer shaft compared to traditional drive centres. The centre point extends beyond the prongs, enabling quick and effortless alignment. Its sharp point and prongs can easily dig into the timber, providing a firm hold. The 4-prong head is perfect for squared spindle ends, as each prong penetrates the timber evenly for maximum grip. You can easily remove these centres from the lathe using the Rotur knockout bar (TKO265). These drive centres are crafted from high-quality EN8M Steel. Their one-piece design ensures that the integral points won't come loose. They are available in 1MT and 2MT and are proudly made in the UK by Planet Plus Ltd. Product code for 1MT: 0941.
Using the Rotur Mini Drive Centre is easy. First, select the appropriate 1MT or 2MT centre for your lathe. Place it securely in the lathe. When working with squared spindle ends, the 4-prong head will give you great grip. The centre point makes it simple to align the workpiece quickly. To remove the centre from the lathe, use the Rotur knockout bar (TKO265). As for maintenance, keep it clean after each use. You can wipe it with a dry cloth. Store it in a dry place to prevent rusting. Also, be careful when handling it as the point and prongs are sharp.
