Abranet is an innovative sanding material designed for dust-free sanding. These 77mm discs have thousands of tiny holes, allowing you to vacuum dust and particles efficiently without clogging the disc. This leads to a consistent sanding pattern and a super smooth finish. With minimal airborne dust, your workspace will be much cleaner and safer. Abranet is suitable for sanding fillers, primers, lacquers, composites, and many other materials. It's a tough and long-lasting option. There's also an assorted pack with 5 grits (120, 240, 400, 600, and 800), with 5 discs of each grit. This 320 grit pack contains 50 discs (A773250).
Using these Mirka Abranet discs is easy. First, make sure your sander is compatible with 77mm discs. Attach the disc firmly to the sander. When sanding, apply gentle and even pressure for the best results. Remember to connect a vacuum to the sander to take advantage of the dust - free feature. As for safety, always wear protective goggles and a dust mask to avoid inhaling any dust. To maintain the discs, clean them regularly with a brush to remove any debris. If you notice the disc is not sanding effectively, it's time to replace it. Don't use the discs on extremely hard or rough surfaces that could damage them quickly. Store the discs in a dry place to prevent them from getting wet or damaged.
