The Rotur Lace Bobbin Drive is an excellent tool that allows you to effortlessly turn lace bobbins on a lathe without using a chuck. The drive's opening is a 12mm square and gradually tapers down to 7mm within a 14.5mm depth. First, insert the Lace Bobbin Drive into the headstock spindle. Place a square dowel rod in the tapered opening and support it with a rotating center in the tailstock. Then, shape your lace bobbin as desired and cut it off at the headstock end. This versatile drive center isn't just for making lace bobbins; it can also be used for other small turning projects. It's available in 1MT and 2MT sizes. The 2MT model is labeled as LBD2.
Using this Rotur Lace Bobbin Drive is a breeze. First, insert it into the headstock spindle of your lathe. Then, put a square dowel rod in the tapered opening of the drive.
