Using the EZE - FOLD folding hone is easy. First, open the carrying case to use it as a handle. For sharpening, place the tool on the diamond surface and move it back and forth gently. If you need a finer edge, use the 600 - grit side; for a coarser one, go for the 250 - grit side. No oil or water is required, so you can start sharpening right away. When you're done, close the case to protect the diamond surface. To maintain it, just keep it in a dry place. Don't expose it to extreme temperatures or rough handling.
