Using the Kreg Pocket - Hole Jig 720 is straightforward. First, select the appropriate material with a thickness between 13mm (½”) and 38mm (1 ½”). Place the material in the jig, and use the Automaxx™ one - motion clamping system to secure it. The jig will automatically adjust to the material's thickness. Once the material is clamped, you can start drilling pocket holes. The GripMaxx™ anti - slip feature will keep the material in place during the drilling process. After drilling, you can use the included 60 Kreg pocket - hole screws to assemble your project. As for maintenance, regularly clean the jig to remove wood dust. You can use the chip ejection port to connect to a shop vacuum for easy cleaning. Check the steel - reinforced spine and other parts for any signs of wear and tear. Also, make sure to store the drill bits and other accessories in the on - board storage to keep them organized. And don't forget, the drill guide has a lifetime warranty, so if you encounter any issues, you can get it sorted out.
