Using the Makita DTW1002Z 18V Li - Ion LXT Cordless Brushless Impact Wrench is a breeze. First, you'll need to get a compatible 18V battery and charger (not included with the tool). Once you have a charged battery, insert it into the tool. To start working, select one of the three power settings based on your task. For lighter jobs, choose a lower setting, and for heavy - duty tasks, go for the higher one. The LED light on the tool can be very helpful in dimly lit areas. Just turn it on to illuminate your work. When using the wrench, make sure the fastener is properly seated before applying torque. Avoid over - tightening as it may damage the fastener or the workpiece. After use, remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Clean the tool regularly with a dry cloth to keep it in good condition.
