Using the Makita DLX2414ST LXT Brushless Combi Twin Kit is easy. First, charge the two 18V 5ah batteries using the included charger. Once charged, insert a battery into either the DHP487 drill or the DTD157 impact driver. For the drill, select the appropriate torque setting according to your project. If you're drilling into wood, you can use larger drill bits up to 36 mm. For masonry, concrete, or steel, stick to bits up to 13 mm. The electronic brake will stop the drill quickly when you're done. The impact driver is great for tightening bolts. You can use it on standard bolts from M5 - M14. Just adjust the speed and let it do the work.
