Abranet is an innovative sanding material designed for dust-free sanding. These 77mm discs have thousands of tiny holes, allowing for efficient dust and particle vacuuming without clogging. This results in a uniform sanding pattern and a super-smooth surface. With less airborne dust, the work environment is much better. Abranet is suitable for sanding fillers, primers, lacquers, composite materials, and many other substances. It's a long-lasting and durable option. There's also an assorted pack with 5 grits (120, 240, 400, 600, and 800), having 5 discs of each grit. The 500-grit pack comes with 50 discs (A775050).
To use these Mirka Abranet discs, first, make sure your sanding machine is compatible with 77mm discs. Attach the disc firmly to the machine. Start sanding the surface gently, moving the machine in a smooth and even motion. This will help achieve a uniform sanding pattern. When sanding, keep the vacuum on to remove dust effectively. Avoid applying too much pressure as it may damage the disc or the surface you're sanding. For maintenance, after each use, clean the disc gently to remove any remaining dust. Store the discs in a dry place to prevent them from getting wet or damaged. If the disc starts to clog or lose its sanding ability, replace it with a new one.
