DESCRIPTION

Corefix comes in a pack of 6 with 100mm fixings. It's a heavy - duty dot & dab wall fixing that's super easy to install. You don't need any special tools, just a drill, driver, and hammer. This patented system features an engineered steel core that spans the cavity and transfers the load to the blockwork behind. With a 100mm screw length and a 10mm maximum fixture depth, it can safely support up to 100kg when using 4 fixings. The pack includes 6 fixings and a 10mm drill bit. It's designed to quickly and safely attach heavy loads to plasterboard (dot and dab) cavity walls. Independently tested to hold 100 kg loads securely. You can install Corefix fast and easily without specialist tools; all you need is a 10mm drill, hammer, and screwdriver. Originally made for wall - hung kitchen cabinets, Corefix fixings are now great for supporting various heavy loads on hollow cavity walls, like large flat - screen TVs, sanitary ware products, boilers, and radiators. Corefix works by using a steel core fixing to bridge the gap between the plasterboard and the solid wall. This prevents the plasterboard from getting crushed and collapsing into the void, which often happens with other cavity wall fixings under pressure. The load is supported by the solid wall behind the plasterboard cavity. All Corefix components are high - quality, and the steel core is plated to resist corrosion.

Using Corefix is a breeze. First, gather your tools: a 10mm drill, a hammer, and a screwdriver. Drill holes in the plasterboard where you want to install the fixings. Then, insert the Corefix fixings into the holes. Use the hammer to tap them in gently. Once they're in place, you can attach your heavy items like a TV, boiler, or radiator using the provided screws. When using Corefix, make sure to use at least 4 fixings to ensure a safe working load of up to 100kg. Don't try to exceed this weight limit as it could lead to an unsafe situation. For maintenance, check the fixings periodically for any signs of corrosion. Since the steel core is plated for corrosion resistance, it should last a long time, but it's still a good idea to keep an eye on it. If you notice any damage or loosening, replace the fixings right away to keep your heavy items securely attached.
