Using this Rotur pen turners kit is a breeze. First, grab your preferred pen blank, either the acrylic or one of the assorted wood blanks. Use the appropriate drill bit to make a hole in the blank. For 7mm pens, you'll likely use the 6.8, 6.9, or 7mm drill bits. After drilling, trim the pen blank with the corresponding trimming tool. Once your blank is ready, attach it to the Deluxe Colleted Pen Mandrel. Then, you can start assembling your pen using the components from the Ultima or Classic Premium pen kits.
Here are some important things to keep in mind. Always wear safety goggles when using the drill bits and trimming tools to protect your eyes. Make sure the drill bit is firmly in place before starting to drill to avoid any accidents. When handling the brass nuts and locking nuts, be careful not to over - tighten them as it might damage the parts.
For maintenance, after each use, clean the tools with a dry cloth to remove any dust or debris. Store the kit in the provided portable storage case in a dry place. This will keep the tools in good condition and ready for your next pen - making project.
