DESCRIPTION
This is a dedicated Cylinder Head Temperature sensor suitable for engines with a 10mm spark plug size. The Mychron Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor can be used with Mychron 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 when paired with the appropriate yellow patch cable. Engines with a 10mm plug size such as Briggs World Formula, along with M3, M4, M5, and M6 models, are compatible. It's also applicable to Mychron 3, Mychron 4, Mychron 5, and Mychron 6 devices. This sensor operates as a thermocouple, providing accurate temperature readings for your engine.
Using this Mychron Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor is easy. First, make sure you have the proper yellow patch cable for your Mychron 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 device. Connect the sensor to the cable and then to your Mychron unit. Install the sensor on an engine with a 10mm spark plug size, like Briggs World Formula or M3 - M6 engines. When handling the sensor, be gentle as it's a delicate device. Avoid dropping or hitting it. For maintenance, keep it clean and dry. If you notice any issues with the readings, check the connections first. If problems persist, it might be time to replace the sensor.
