Choose your engine class: Mini Swift with an unrestricted exhaust header or Micro Swift with a restricted one. Comet's blueprinted engines are custom - built, and we'll ship them within 4 weeks. This kit contains all parts of the standard Swift engine kit, plus Comet's unique enhancements to maximize the performance of the Parilla Swift engine. These are the same engines that have triumphed in numerous SKUSA Pro Tour and USPKS Series races! Available as a complete engine kit or just the engine. Check the Product Description Tab for details. The kit includes a wiring harness, battery mount, strap and clamps, an exhaust pipe with a welded EGT bung, a Comet blueprinted carburetor, header, electric start button steering wheel mount plate, airbox, and a dynoed airbox filter. You can also opt for a blueprinted engine only with a blueprinted carb, clutch, clutch side cover with coil and spark plug cap, and an exhaust manifold with exhaust springs, all dynoed. The battery and EGT sensor are sold separately. The Swift pipe comes with a welded EGT bung from the factory. The bung can fit either the Big Nut EGT sensor or the 5mm external thread small EGT sensor, but the pipe needs some prep. For the Big Nut style, you'll need to drill a small hole in the bung. For the 5mm external thread style, you'll have to grind or cut the bung and drill its center. Comet can prep the bung for you; just select the option from the dropdown menu.

Using your Comet Racing Blueprinted IAME Swift 60cc Engine Kit is straightforward. First, if you bought the complete kit, start by installing the wiring harness, battery mount, and other included parts according to the standard procedures. Make sure to connect everything properly, especially the electric start button on the steering wheel mount plate. When it comes to the EGT sensor, if you didn't choose the pre - prepped option, you'll need to do a bit of work on the bung as described in the product description. Before using the engine, check all the connections and components to ensure they are secure. As for maintenance, regularly check the airbox filter and clean or replace it as needed. Keep an eye on the carburetor and clutch for any signs of wear. Remember, the battery is sold separately, so make sure it's charged and properly installed. Also, since the EGT sensor is an important part for monitoring the engine's performance, handle it with care and follow the instructions for installation and use.
